I originally was going to use canned cinnamon rolls here but using my own cinnamon and sugar they turned out pretty good!  They’re chocolatey, gooey and nutty and a bit sticky on the fingers.  But it’s a treat, after all.

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

Cut each biscuit in half and then each half into 4 smaller triangles yielding 8 triangles for the whole biscuit.  Drop into a large mixing bowl.

Add softened butter, half of nuts (1 ounce), sugar and cinnamon.

Stir ingredients well, making sure to coat biscuits evenly.

Spray an 8″ round baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.  Pour semi-sweet morsels into baking dish to cover bottom as much as possible.  Spread biscuit mixture on top, spreading out pieces so that edges touch the baking dish.

Bake at 350º on center oven rack for about 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and allow to cool 5 minutes.

Cover baking dish with a suitable serving dish and using oven mits flip upside down and lift baking dish to empty pull-aparts.  Scrape any chocolate that may be left in baking dish on top of pull-aparts.  Sprinkle top with remaining chopped nuts!
